HerpWise publishes reptile care guides for leopard geckos, bearded dragons and crested geckos, with every fact linked to a veterinary or scientific source.
HerpWise is a reptile care reference for people who keep, or are about to keep, a leopard gecko, a bearded dragon or a crested gecko.
We write for the questions keepers actually ask: how big the enclosure should be, how warm the basking spot should get, what to do when an animal stops eating. Each guide gives the short answer first, then the detail, then the sources.
Who writes and reviews
Guides are researched and written by the HerpWise editorial team, and every fact is checked against the veterinary and scientific sources the guide cites. Each guide shows the date it was last checked. When a guide has been reviewed by a veterinarian, it names that reviewer.
What we sell
HerpWise plans to offer reptile supplies and species starter kits. Our guides will never recommend a product we have not checked against the care requirements on the same page. Read our product and affiliate disclosure.
